Parijat Wismer and her partner Veda Turner have run a very successful and busy Kinesiology Practice (since 1986) at beautiful Byron Bay in Northern New South Wales, the most eastern point on the Australian continent. Parijat has a background as a Primary School Teacher, is a registered Herbalist (ATMS), an Advanced Kinesiology Instructor and a practicing Kinesiologist. She has been involved with Kinesiology since 1984 and is a Founding Member of IASK and NRKA. Parijat has had many years working with both dried and fresh herbs and has developed a program specifically directed towards the practising Kinesiologist to support them in their therapy.

HERBS FOR KINESIOLOGISTS (HFK) Parijat’s own 3-day course

HFK expands your Kinesiology skills in the bio-chemical aspect of the Triad Of Health. This 3 day course is now fully accredited with the AKA and is being submitted to the AIK for accreditation.

As a Kinesiologist, Parijat Wismer became acutely aware that she needed more information and skills to assist her work. As a registered Herbalist she found that traditional herbalism needed a new viewpoint to be compatible with Kinesiology.

“Adding herbs into my clinic was a tremendous step forward. I shared this new way of supporting Kinesiology with herbs with my students, running a series of morning classes. And so, “Herbs for Kinesiologists” was born”, Parijat said.

Herbs have been used since ancient times to balance, tonify and restore vitality. They are ingested as food, digested, absorbed and circulated to the tissue and organs. Herbs have many qualities. They assist the body in fighting infections; they can be anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-spasmodic, anti-septic, laxative, digestive, nervine, relaxant, diuretic and nutritive. They can cleanse, regulate body function, raise energy, calm an overactive nervous system and stimulate immune function. Herbs are energetic in nature and can be brought into our work to support recovery, help maintain balances, increase the effectiveness of other Kinesiology methods, and strengthen and balance the vital life force.

HFK shows you how to:

  • use herbs to tonify and sedate meridians and to apply herbs to the theory of the five elements.
  • guide clients safely through a detoxification program, cleansing organs such as the bowel, liver or kidneys.
  • understand how to balance the body if affected by parasites and candida overwhelm.
  • improve the wellbeing of your clients and create lasting support for your Kinesiology balances with the gentle action of herbs.
The intention of the course is to give students confidence in incorporating herbs into their work. Topics covered include Kinesiology procedures, understanding of herbal products, function and dysfunction of body systems and organs, and skills to be able to test for and recommend herbs safely and appropriately.

Students are required to be fluent in balancing the five elements before attending this workshop, so Touch for Health 4 or equivalent is a pre-requisite. This is what previous students had to say:

“I think that every Kinesiologist needs to take this course. My work is much more whole now.” “I find the course material extremely useful, I follow the procedures all the time to increase the effectiveness of my work. The manual is excellent and easy to use, a great reference.”
