Richard Holding DO is a British trained Osteopath and one of the foremost developers of Kinesiology in the UK. He graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 1969, taught under the auspices of the Sutherland Cranial Teaching Foundation (SCTF) for many years, is a member of the International College of Applied Kinesiology (ICAK) and holds a diploma of the International Academy of Nutrition.
Over the years he has evolved his unique blend of Cranial Osteopathy, Clinical and Applied Kinesiology and Traditional Chinese Medicine into a highly effective system for the treatment of a wide range of illnesses and disorders. He runs a busy specialised practice in London, concentrating on chronic disease and teaches extensively in the UK, the United States and Europe.
FOUNDATION COURSE IN KINESIOLOGY
A CERTIFICATED TRAINING COURSE OVER SIX WEEKENDS

This practical training will give you valuable diagnostic muscle testing skills which will revolutionise the way you work, whether you are an osteopath, chiropractor, doctor, dentist, physiotherapist, massage therapist, aromatherapist or reflexologist. Whether you are already familiar with kinesiology through AK or Touch for Health, or whether you have no previous knowledge of it at all, this course will introduce you to a new way of muscle testing, which is faster, more accurate and tailored to suit your particular therapeutic approach.
You will learn:
- About different types of muscle testing
- How to test muscles accurately
- About the "Triad of Health" - the balance between physical structure,
- chemistry and electromagnetic energy
- How to assess QUICKLY AND EASILY whether physical, nutritional or electromagnetic therapy is required
- How to monitor progress throughout the treatment
- About the use of hand modes for even more accurate diagnosis of eg:
cranial imbalances, spinal subluxations and fixations
- the need for nutritional supplementation, Chinese herbs, flower remedies essential oils - concentration and combination
- areas requiring massage type of massage and for the diagnosis and treatment of toxicity and allergy
